Someone must have slandered Josef K.

A wonderful cheerfulness

A wonderful cheerfulness has taken hold of my whole soul, like the sweet spring mornings that I enjoy with all my heart. I am alone and enjoy my life in this area, which is made for souls like mine. I am so happy, my dear friend, so completely immersed in the feeling of peaceful existence that my art suffers as a result. I could not draw now, not a single line, and yet I have never been a greater painter than in these moments.

When the lovely valley steams around me, and the high sun rests on the surface of the impenetrable darkness of my forest, and only a few rays steal into the inner sanctuary, I lie in the tall grass by the falling stream, and closer to the earth, a thousand varied grasses become strange to me; when I feel the teeming of the little world between the stalks, the countless, unfathomable forms of the worms, the mosquitoes closer to my heart, and feel the presence of the Almighty who created us in his image, the breath of the All-Loving One who carries and sustains us in eternal bliss; my friend!

Far back, behind the word mountains

Far away, behind the mountains of words, far from the lands of vowels and consonants, live the blind texts. They live secluded in Letterville on the coast of Semantics, a large ocean of language. A small stream called Duden flows through their town and provides them with the necessary rules. It is a paradisiacal land where fried sentence fragments fly into your mouth. Not even the almighty punctuation rules over the blind texts – a truly unorthographic life.

One day, however, a small line of dummy text, whose name was Lorem Ipsum, decided to go out into the wide world of grammar. The great Oxmox advised her against it, as it was teeming with evil commas, wild question marks and devious semicolons, but the little dummy text was not to be deterred. It grabbed its seven capital letters, tucked its initial into its belt and set off.
